Backlash against the president with the hashtag #DressLikeAWoman.
'Trump: Here I am, dressed like a woman, because I'm a woman wearing clothes'. #DressLikeAWoman
You know those people with terrible taste who live in a parallel universe where they believe themselves to be some kind of fashion genius?
Well, it's a phenomenon that gets exponentially worse the more money you have. Because money can't buy taste, but it can buy a gold-plated penthouse...
It can help you keep up a hairstyle that defies all the rules of hair styling, not to mention some basic laws of physics.
And it can allow you the luxury of being a shameless despot and telling your staff how they should and shouldn't dress.
According to a source who worked for Trump during his presidential campaign, President Trump wants the female staff of his administration to 'dress like women'. 'Even if you're in jeans,' the report goes on to say, 'you need to look neat and orderly'. The backlash on social media was swift, with many women taking to Twitter to offer alternative suggestions of what it really means to 'dress like a woman'. The hashtag #DressLikeAWoman was soon trending, with thousands of tweets clearly implying that Trump should stick his retrograde definition of femininity where the sun don't shine.
A handy guide on how to #dresslikeawoman:
1. Identify as a woman.
2 Get dressed.
