The actress's privacy was violated when naked pictures appeared online

Jennifer Lawrence has admitted to feeling ‘blindsided’ after nude photos of her were leaked by hackers in 2014.

Intimate images of the Hollywood starlet were published online, and were among hundreds of photographs of actresses stolen by a hacker. In a new interview with Vogue, Lawrence opened up about the ordeal, explaining that she feels nervous when her publicist calls her, and that the sex crime still haunts her. ‘I think people saw [the hacking] for what it was, which was a sex crime, but that feeling, I haven't been able to get rid of it,’ she told the magazine.

‘Having your privacy violated constantly isn't a problem if you're perfect. But if you're human, it's terrifying.

‘When my publicist calls me, I'm like, “Oh, my God, what is it?” Even when it's nothing. I'm always waiting to get blindsided again. It's scary when you feel the whole world judges you. The Hunger Games star had been the victim of a phishing campaign by Edward Majerczyk, from Chicago. In January, he was jailed for nine months after admitting to hacking the accounts of 30 celebrities, but was not convicted of sharing the images online. Previously, Lawrence spoke to Vanity Fair, telling the publication: ‘Anybody who looked at those pictures, you're perpetuating a sexual offence. The actress is the cover star for US Vogue’s acclaimed September issue, for which she has been photographed by Annie Leibovitz and Inez & Vinoodh.
