The A-lister has finally spoken

Kim Kardashian, quite possibly the most famous woman on the planet, has tended to steer clear of politics. Perhaps because she wants to be respectful, or she actually doesn’t know anything about politics, or, quite possibly, not to alienate any fans who are Trump supporters and might not tune in to her latest Snapchat if she disses the tangerine-tinted president. But now, the Kardashian queen has weighed in on the tumultuous first tenure of a man so severely unqualified to lead the US. In a recent interview with Harper Bazaar Arabia, Kim was asked what she made of The Donald’s presidency so far. And let’s just say, she isn’t a fan. ‘Anyone can run the U.S. better,’ she told the publication. ‘My daughter would be better.’ Ouch. Donald, you’re going to need some aloe vera for that burn. via GIPHY ‘We’ve worked so hard to get to where we were and to have so many things that we were so proud of in our country, to just literally revert backwards is the most frustrating thing,’ she added.

‘Every single day when you can’t really believe what’s going on, the next day it’s something else even more crazy and tragic. It's really scary, the world that we’re living in now. And when you did feel safe at home, now with Trump in presidency you just don’t feel safe anymore.’

Enlightened commentary, Kim, really, you have actually articulated what the whole world is feeling. You’re just about six months too late. Controversially, but not surprisingly, Kim’s stepmom Caitlin Jenner is an avid supporter of the Republican Party, and has been slammed by the trans community for her continual support of a president that announced a total ban on transgender soldiers entering the military. By Twitter, I might add. via GIPHY
