'She's beautiful, she's powerful, she's... complicit,' purrs Johansson's voiceover. In a devastating sketch for Saturday Night Live, the Lost in Translation star parodies Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald Trump. Ivanka is more PR-friendly than her father and she was frequently wheeled out during the presidential campaign in an attempt to win over female voters. However, she is shown no mercy in this elegant demolition job.
The sketch is based on the typical perfume ad. We see the actress turning heads as she walks through a glamorous party. Johansson also provides the voiceover: 'She's a woman who knows what she wants, and knows what she's doing,' she says as she poses for the camera as Ivanka.
The voiceover goes on to take aim at Ms Trump's feminist credentials: 'A feminist. A champion. An advocate for women. Like... how?' The sketch also refers to the infamous moment when Donald Trump boasted about grabbing women 'by the pussy', and notes how such controversies could negatively impact her career.

The end of the sketch is particularly damning, describing 'Complicit' as 'the fragrance for the woman who could stop all of this... but won't'. This is not the first time SNL has taken on the Trumps: Alec Baldwin's incendiary Trump impersonation has already become iconic.
The first daughter recently came in for criticism after uploading a photo of her romantic 'date night' with husband Jared Kushner shortly after her father introduced his hard-line immigration ban. She was accused of being 'inappropriate' and 'tone deaf' in sharing such a picture while humanitarian chaos swept across airports worldwide.
