‘We’ll make unwavering efforts to protect the lives of our people and the security of our nation’
North Korea launched a missile that reached the Japanese coast and South Korea responded with a show of strength by dropping heavy bombs, as seen in this video.
The missile launched on Tuesday by North Korea travelled around 2700km in eight minutes and broke up into three pieces, which were scattered between the coast of Japan’s island of Hokkaido and the Pacific.
South Korea has responded with a show of force, which included dropping eight bombs in the border area between the two nations.
The country mobilised four F-15K fighter planes carrying MK-84 bombs and filmed the video of its ‘tests’ together with an unequivocal message.
‘We are fully ready for any threat from the North and will make unwavering efforts to protect the lives of our people and the security of our nation.’
It is believed that Kim Jong-un has launched a missile at Japan because the country is halfway to the US territory of Guam, a region that was already threatened two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, millions of Japanese have seen their daily lives come under threat by the close proximity of the North Korean missile.
