Today everyone’s cleaning walk of fame stars ‘for their president’: Shrek, Danny De Vito, Meryl Streep... and so the lunacy goes on
Fans have a habit of undertaking bizarre exploits for their idols.
To give you just a few examples, there was the woman who had her name changed by deed poll to Mrs. Kanye West. Seriously.
There’s also the case of Carl McCoid, the English forty-something-year-old whose body is covered in around 30 Miley Cyrus tattoos because, he says, the singer’s music has helped him get over his divorce.
And then there’s Herbert Chávez, a Superman-obsessed Filipino who has spent a fortune on making himself look like his idol. Let’s hope he knows even the best doctors in the world can't help with the flying thing. Or maybe the guy hang-glides to work. Who knows. Anything’s possible.
The truth is, if we compare her with these extreme superfans, the star-cleaner doesn’t seem quite so off the rails (albeit a little absurd). Her name (at least on Twitter) is Makenna, and she’s a fully-fledged Trump fan. And not just as a flag-waving defender of Trump’s hairstyle. Makenna has no qualms about getting down on her hands and knees to clean the walk of fame star of her beloved president.

Conservatives everywhere are applauding her like a herd of seals. And there she is, feeling like a diva, kissing Trump's ass and retweeting her support for him.

I don’t know. I have my doubts. Let’s see if the next tweet clears things up for me.
Can you spot the difference in attitude and composure? Who seems mature? Who seems that could handle political conversation like an adult? pic.twitter.com/Vv8efeFhYf

The girl with the stickers or the one with the flag? I don’t know. I’m still not sure about all this…
I'm appalled at just how vile people become when someone chooses to support OUR president and country. Y'all need Jesus.

It turns out I misunderstood this concept of ‘freedom of expression’... Can bar rants be deleted like tweets?
Fact of the matter is, it's never ok to disrespect the president of the United States. Regardless of your political views

But of course, outside of its bubble, Makenna’s gesture was not seen in quite the same light, and the piss-taking was quick to start…
