A three-man Australian stunt group has just broken a new world record by sinking a basketball from an incredible height of 180 metres.
Each member of the trick-shot trio – Dereck Herron, Brett Stanford, and Scott Gaunson – took a turn to shoot, but as is often the case, it was third time lucky.
The video shows Herron launching the ball from the top of a dam in Switzerland and sinking it into a basket positioned in the valley far below.
"I watched the ball head towards the rim and saw the net move but still had my doubts that it went in until I saw Scott going crazy", said Herron.
The Australian trio carry out sports tricks and share them on social media. They filmed their record-breaking moment from several angles, and also included some shots of the majestic Swiss landscape.
