The great outdoors, nature, clean air... Sounds like a great way to recharge the batteries doesn't it?
WELL, NO. It doesn't. You think we're crazy?
Going to the countryside is riskier than playing twister in a minefield: wild animals, avalanches, landslides, over-eager day-trippers in their floppy hats and hiking boots... Oh, and then there are the insects and stinging nettles, not to mention all the dangers inherent in attending to your bodily needs in a hostile environment.
It's also worth noting that the risks posed by the aforementioned 'wild animals' depend greatly on which corner of the world you find yourself in. If you're strolling around the Cotswolds, then the deadliest thing you're likely to encounter is an irate adder. But if you happen to be cycling through Slovakia, then there's a decent chance a bear might take exception to having his peace and quiet disturbed. That's exactly what happened to these guys.
When it came to picking sides, most commentators were firmly on Team Bear.
Even bears have an online presence these days. And this one obviously wanted to milk his 15 minutes of fame.
